More than this by Patrick Ness

This isn't a review because I can't write a review for this book. This is a heads up that everyone should go out and buy a copy of this book

goodreads synopsis
A boy named Seth drowns, desperate and alone in his final moments, losing his life as the pounding sea claims him. But then he wakes. He is naked, thirsty, starving. But alive. How is that possible? He remembers dying, his bones breaking, his skull dashed upon the rocks. So how is he here? And where is this place? It looks like the suburban English town where he lived as a child, before an unthinkable tragedy happened and his family moved to America. But the neighborhood around his old house is overgrown, covered in dust, and completely abandoned. What’s going on? And why is it that whenever he closes his eyes, he falls prey to vivid, agonizing memories that seem more real than the world around him? Seth begins a search for answers, hoping that he might not be alone, that this might not be the hell he fears it to be, that there might be more than just this. . .

Why buy this book I hear you say? Put simply it blew my mind. I couldn't put it down and I was left stunned at the end and haven't stopped thinking about it since. Hands down the best book I've read all year. Oh, good good good! I'm half way through, and I'm really worried that I'm going to be disappointed with the ending. Your review gives me hope!! I am finding it easy to read and interesting, I'm just worried about the "reveal." (Or the lack of one...)

I'll be making a point of reading this book soon, because the last book I read by Ness just blew me right out of the water and brought tears to my eyes. One book and already I expect great things of the man!
