Every Day by David Levithan
Published by Electric Monkey
Goodreads Synopsis
Every day a different body. Every day a different life. Every day in love with the same girl.
There’s never any warning about where it will be or who it will be. A has made peace with that, even established guidelines by which to live: Never get too attached. Avoid being noticed. Do not interfere.
It’s all fine until the morning that A wakes up in the body of Justin and meets Justin’s girlfriend, Rhiannon. From that moment, the rules by which A has been living no longer apply. Because finally A has found someone he wants to be with—day in, day out, day after day.
My Thoughts
This isn't a review as such. I must admit I read this long before a review copy arrived in the post as I had heard how brilliantly awesome it was. I just wanted to give it a bit of air time on the blog to coincide with the UK release date. I had been dying to read for a long long time and I'm glad to say it didn't disappoint. I loved it completely and the ideas behind it. I loved getting into A's head and seeing the world the way he did living a different life a day at a time and I loved following his attempts to maintain a relationship with an ordinary girl. Highly recommended and well worth all the hype surrounding it
