When I had my picture book mini obsession a month or so back I was offered this for review and the historical royalist in me couldn't say no.

If anyone has smallish children (don't ask me ages - I don't have kids) who have been wondering about all the fuss is with the diamond jubilee get them this book. It has lovely illustrations and loooks at the Queen's life from when she was born until the present day.  I actually loved how it included her role in the Second World War and I actually think this is something little ones would love and make them more interested in learning about the Queen. It actually taught me a thing or two about Her Majesty!
