I have quite frankly had an immense book week this week. The only downside it has made the process of deciding what to read next very difficult because they all look fantastic.
For Review
Tempest by Julie Cross (UK proof)
Finished this yesterday morning and really enjoyed it.
Skin Deep by Laura Jarratt (UK proof)
Oliver Twisted by JD Sharpe (UK proof)
These are both coming from Egmont's new Electric Monkey imprint at the start of next year. They both look awesome in very different ways.
Darkness Falls by Cat Tieran (UK proof)
This is not Forgiveness by Celia Rees (UK proof)
I'm so looking forward to this one which is out in 2012.
Wonder by RJ Palacio (UK proof)
Everything I've heard about this one has been fantastic
The Book of Blood and Shadow by Robin Wassermann (Bound Manuscript)
This one looks amazing. I actually have Robin lined up for a guest post on bookcase showcase closer to publication
Crossed by Ally Condie (UK paperback)
Finished this one yesterday too. Still tryin to digest it and put into words exactly what I thought about it.
The Haunting of Charity Delafield by Ian Beck (UK Hardback)
This is a beautiful finished copy. I loved this one. Ian is up on bookcase showcase next week.
Unleashed by Nancy Holder and Debbie Vigue (UK paperback)
Was immediately drawn to this one because of the Buffy links. Started it yesterday and enjoying it so far.
Bought
I haven't been buying a lot of books recently unless I've been at events held by the Norfolk Children's Book Centre but I saw the first three below in a secondhand book shop whilst out with Lyndsey and it would have been rude to leave them behind.
Once in a full moon by Ellen Schreiber (US Hardback)
Crossing Over by Anna Kendall (US Hardback)
Legacies by Mercedes Lackey (US Hardback)
VIII by HM Castor (UK Hardback)
I'm off to an Historical Fiction conference next week. Harriet is going to be there so I made sure I got a finished copy to take with me to get signed. I loved this one so if you've not read it I would highly recommend it.
As you can see I've been well and truly spoilt this week by all the wonderful publishers who I work with. Thank you to them all.

Hope you are feeling better <3
I love the logo for Electric Monkey - it's fun!
The book of Blood & Shadow sounds pretty cool, too.
Legacies looks pretty interesting - I've never actually read anything by Mercedes Lackey - I think I need to change that ;)
