Only a few books this week but all good ones

For Review
Kill all Enemies by Melvin Burgess (UK paperback)
I've never read anything by Melvin so I'll be interested to see how this one goes. I've heard lots of good things.
Angel Fire by LA Weatherly (UK paperback)
I still need to read the first book. Maybe I will over half term

Bought
Lola and the Boy next door (US hardback)
I loved it as much as Anna. I was so excited when it finally arrived as I have been waiting for it for ages.
13 little envelopes by Maureen Johnson.
I bought this as I'm meeting Maureen later in the month so hopefully I'll be able to get it signed.

Also I could do with some help. I've been rubbish with reading the last few weeks and not being able to to get into much of anything. Here is my TBR pile. Please give me some recommendations!

Had a look at your TBR list, I just finished Firelight (it had been on my TBR forever!) I ended up really enjoying it and wondering why it took me so long to read. I also loved Fire and Thorns it's pretty big but epic, if you like stuff like The Poison Study series then it's the book for you. I also loved The Darkest Powers trilogy which I read ages ago it's great! Hope this helps.

Your TBR pile has a *lot* of gems. I'm actually a little envious of you getting to read some of these for the first time.

I think it all depends what exact mood you're in. Speak is powerful and all-consuming with a protagonist you'll probably get hugely protective over. Inside Out is super fun and crazily page-turning. The Replacement is one of the darkest paranormal-type YAs I've read; gruesome but also quirky and touching. Will Grayson is more upbeat and life-affirming and a little like watching an episode of Glee. I could keep going, because you have so many fab books on there.
I got Lola too, I cant wait to read it and by the sounds of it, its awesome! :D I hope you enjoy the others too!

The Forest of Hands and Teeth is a great read if you fancy some zombie action! And the Darkest Powers books are great reads. Reading slumps are annoying but sometimes it's good to take a break and come back refreshed!

I have only read one Maureen Johnson book but I'm sure I've got this one on my Kindle. Yay for Lola too :D

I definitely want to read more Maureen Johnson. I think she is fab. I haven't read Angel yet.
I am so jealous that you're meeting Maureen Johnson- she is so funny. I liked 13 Little Blue Envelopes, but the sequel was even better! Kill All Enemies looks interesting, looking forward to your review.
Great group of books! I hope you enjoy!

Angel was one of the best books I've read this year, I loved it, and can't wait to read Angel Fire.
I love the look of Lola too. I have Anna but haven't read it yet. Hope you find something to get you out of your reading slump!
