In my mailbox (44)

Thank you Kristi for hosting In My Mailbox each and every week.

I had an awesome book weekthis week. I started this week with a trip to London with Sarah from feelingfictional.com at the London Book Fair and had an awesome time.

Dreaming Anastasia by Joy Preble (US paperback)
The thing that drew me to this book was the fact that it is linked into the history of the Romanovs but is also a paranormal romance. I can't wait to get started with it.

Another Faust by Daniel and Dina Nayeri (US paperback)
Sarah from my favourite books blog bought this lovely book for me as i had picked up the second in the series by mistake. I can't wait to get started with it.

Another Pan by Daniel and Dina Nayeri (US hardback)
I'm not going to lie. I only bought this because I loved Peter Pan when I was young (and wanted to be him). I got a bit over excited and bought it without realising it was the second book in the series.

The Truth about Celia Frost by Paula Rawthorne (Signed UK proof)
I was lucky enough to be invited to the book launch for this awesome book at the London Book Fair and ended up reading it on the way home in one sitting. The author herself was really friendly and lovely and I can see this is a book I will rave about for the next few months.

The Deeping Secrets by Victor Watson (UK paperback)
This is the second in the series set in World War Two. I'm hoping to get the first one soon and get started with it as Becky (The Bookette) said it was awesome.

Liar by Justine Larbalestier (US hardback)
I've heard mixed things about this book but am looking forward to giving it a go

Six days by Phillip Webb (UK proof)
This is a book coming from Chicken House later in the year which sounds really interesting.

A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness (UK hardback)
I've started this already. The book itself is gorgeous with beautiful illustrations all the way through.

Run Rabbit Run by Barbara Mitchelhill (UK paperback)
I was sent this by the author herself along with a lovely book mark. It is set in World War Two and focus on a family where the day is a conscientious objector

Huntress by Malinda Lo (UK paperback)
This looks awesome - set in the same world as Ash but centuries earlier. I will probably start this one over the weekend at some point.

The Game by Krystyna Kuhn (UK paperback)
This book was originally published in German. I've not heard anyhting about it but I am quite looking forward to getting started on it.

Die for me by Amy Plum (UK paperback)
A beautiful finished copy! I loved this book when I read it recently. Vincent is just a little bit too gorgeous.

Swin the Fly by Don Calame (UK paperback)
I've been told that this one is really funny so I am really looking forward to it - I will also be part of the blog tour when it is released at the end of May / June with a guest post from the author.

Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton (US hardback)
I've heard loads of lovely things about this from the US bloggers and therefore when I saw it in Foyles I had to get it.

Brother/Sister by Sean Olin (UK proof)
This one looks really interesting and is coming from Razorbill in the summer.

All in all a fab week. While you are here please check out yesterday's bookcase showcase post which featured the shelves of one of my favourite book bloggers Vivienne.
