I know Kristi isn't hosting IMM again until the new year but I got some fab books this week and I didn't want to get backlogged so here it is!
Firstly I received by secret santa from the Book Blogger Holiday Swap. I got ..
which is a little note book which will come in very handy for me jotting down ideas for my blog. Thank you to Kate from http://whatkatesreading.blogspot.com/ for sending it to me.
I also got some lovely book this week as follows ..
Nightshade by Andrea Cremer (UK paperback finished copy)
I literally had no idea that this book was coming. I actually screamed and did a little dance when I opened it. It made what had been a pretty rubbish day at school a lot better. I've only had it a couple of days but I've already finished it. All I'm going to say is it is awesome!!
Twilight (Hardback signed edition)
My husband originally bought me twilight when it first came out in the UK in 2006. I read and loved it several times. I recently found out that my edition is a UK first edition and worth quite a bit so I decided I better not read it again and had been thinking about replacing it with a copy I can read. I saw this signed copy on http://www.firsts-in-print.co.uk/index.html for a very reasonable price so I snapped it up (ironically they also have a copy of the edition I already own).
Low red moon by Ivy Devlin (UK paperback finished copy)
Another book I wasn't expecting at all. It is a gorgeous edition - bits of the text inside are printed in red. It is out in February
Boys don't cry by Malorie Blackman (signed UK hardback)
I read a copy of this ages ago which I won in a competiton. I loved it as much as I loved the rest of the books I have read by Malorie. I saw this on the same site that I saw the signed copy of twilight and got it too.
Long Reach by Peter Cocks (UK paperback proof)
This looks really interesting - murder/ crime novel which I am told is very gritty. I heard about it in passing back in June. I may have to hold off until 1st January to start it so it count towards by British Book Challenge total and my debut author total.
