In my Mailbox is hosted by the awesome Kristi at www.thestorysiren.com
I wasn't out to get any books this week but I ended up with a modest haul.
Crusade by Linda Press Wulfe (finished copy)
I received this in the post early in the week. I am really excited to have a finished copy as I loved the cover when I first saw it and the proof was very plain (which I now have available to send out to someone in my book fairy role) I have a review going up on it very early in January 2011. A fab read and worth hunting down when it is published.
The Foreshadowing by Marcus Sedgewick (hardcover signed)
I don't know why I haven't read more Marcus Sedgewick as I have liked everything I have read of his so far. I found this lovely little signed number for the bargain sum of £2. I will be reading it as part of my attempt at completing the British Book Challenge hosted by www.thebookette.co.uk
Wereworld: Rise of the wolf by Curtis Jobling (finished copy)
I will be reading and reviewing this before the end of the year after being asked to by my lovely contact at penguin. It is a new fantasy series by the man who invented bob the builder (although I'm pretty sure he hasn't got a cameo in this!) My review will be up on the 31st December.
The Beautiful Lie by Ifran Master (finished copy)
I love the sound of this book. I am going to read it both as part of my debut author challenge held by www.thestorysiren.co.uk and the British Books Challenge held by www.thebookette.co.uk. I love the sound of it and think it'll appeal to my historicalness.
