From www.readitswapit.co.uk - I love this website
The Secret circle - LJ Smith
The circle's power has lured her home
Forced to move from sunny California to gloomy New England, Cassie longs for her old life. Even so, she feels a strange kinship to a terrifying group of teens who seem to rule her school. Initiated into the coven of witches that's controlled New Salem for hundreds of years, she's drawn into the Secret Circle, a thrill that's both intoxicating and deadly. But when she falls for the mysterious and intriguing Adam, Cassie must choose whether to resist temptation or risk dark forces to get what she wants—even if it means that one wrong move could ultimately destroy her.
Been meaning to read her stuff for ages - will get there eventually
Killing God - Kevin Brooks
Dawn Bundy is fifteen. She doesn't fit in and she couldn't care less. Dawn has other things on her mind. Her dad disappeared two years ago and it's all God's fault. When Dawn's dad found God, it was the worst time ever. He thought he'd found the answer to everything. But that wasn't the end of it.
was actually recommened this author by Sophie McKenzie - I think she has co written a book with him. I thought this one looks good.
The girl with the dragon Tattoo
Forty years ago, Harriet Vanger disappeared from a family gathering on the island owned and inhabited by the powerful Vanger clan. Her body was never found, yet her uncle is convinced it was murder - and that the killer is a member of his own tightly knit but dysfunctional family. He employs disgraced financial journalist Mikael Blomkvist and the tattooed, truculent computer hacker Lisbeth Salander to investigate. When the pair link Harriet's disappearance to a number of grotesque murders from forty years ago, they begin to unravel a dark and appalling family history. But the Vangers are a secretive clan, and Blomkvist and Salander are about to find out just how far they are prepared to go to protect themselves.
Not my usual type of book but I have heard good things and it is definately the type of book my mum likes so thought it was worth getting
From www.amazon.co.uk
Linger - Maggie Stiefvater
Continues the story of the wolves of Mercy Falls. . .
It's about after. What happens after you discover there are werewolves in the wood, after you've fallen in love for the first time, after you've lost what you think you can't live without, after you've become someone you can't live with
so incredibly excited about this - I have already started it and hope to get some time over the next few days to really get stuck in.

I have yet to read the Dragon Tattoo and the rest of the trilogy. I haven't gotten around to it, but I hope to do so soon.
