IMM is hosted by the fab story siren at www.thestorysiren.com
A slow week on purpose - exam marking has halted most of my reading (it took over a solid 9 hours yesterday).

Going too far - Jennifer Echols
Description from goodreads.com
All Meg has ever wanted is to get away. Away from high school. Away from her backwater town. Away from her parents who seem determined to keep her imprisoned in their dead-end lives. But one crazy evening involving a dare and forbidden railroad tracks, she goes way too far... and almost doesn't make it back.
John made a choice to stay. To enforce the rules. To serve and protect. He has nothing but contempt for what he sees as childish rebellion, and he wants to teach Meg a lesson she won't soon forget. But Meg pushes him to the limit by questioning everything he learned at the police academy. And when he pushes back, demanding to know why she won't be tied down, they will drive each other to the edge - and over...
Is it wrong that I'm actually put off by the cover now I've seen up close that she has one of those dodgy eyebar thingys. I will read it but I'm freaked out!!!!
Prey - Rachel Vincent

Sometimes playing cat and mouse is no game…
I actually haven't read one of this series for ages - so long ago I can't remember. I'm hoping I'll pick up where I left off without too much issue

The space between trees - Katie Williams
I saw this on the Story Siren's IMM a while ago and fell in love with the cover (the trees on the front are all cut out). I am already a little way through and enjoying it enough. My husband is less than impressed that there is a new American trend to call girls Hadley and is hoping it doesn't catch on here - This is the third thing he's seen (including a barbie doll and another doll) and he is not happy!

Not your everyday coming-of-age novel
This story was supposed to be about Evie how she hasn't made a friend in years, how she tends to stretch the truth (especially about her so-called relationship with college drop-out Jonah Luks), and how she finally comes into her own once she learns to just be herself but it isn't. Because when her classmate Elizabeth "Zabet" McCabe's murdered body is found in the woods, everything changes and Evie's life is never the same again.
Oh and the big news of the week - I am now a proud owner of a library card - haven't had one of those since I was 11!! I will have to use it in the summer.

Sometimes playing cat and mouse is no game…
Play? Right. My Pride is under fire from all sides, my father's authority is in question and my lover is in exile. Which means I haven't laid eyes on Marc's gorgeous face in months. And with a new mother and an I-know-everything teenager under my protection, I don't exactly have time to fantasize about ever seeing him again.
Then our long-awaited reunion is ruined by a vicious ambush by strays. Now our group is under attack, Marc is missing and I will need every bit of skill and smarts to keep my family from being torn apart. Forever.

Hmmm The Space between Trees sounds very interesting. Enjoy :D
Going too Far seems really good. She probably has that eyebar thingy because she is a rebel. LOL
Hope you enjoy them all =)
